The latest incarnation of the vaunted desert island discs format. getting teenagers to think about themselves on a deeper level at this point in their life is always a risky proposition but the results, usually, show a more profound awareness of themselves than we give them credit for.
as to myself, the decalogue is set, i think. i will look at it one more time before committing to it. as i get older, the choices get harder. there are two holdovers from the very first time i did this project almost twenty years ago. the other eight slots vary year to year but there are some second level contenders starting to emerge.
the iPod makes it interesting to see where I was a year ago at this time, versus today.
